About Kabana Jewelry

Located where mountains and deserts meet under the cloudless skies of New Mexico in the Southwestern United States, Kabana Jewelry’s tradition of designing and manufacturing unique opal jewelry began in 1975.

Greek-born founder and owner Stavros Eleftheriou heads a team of excellent and renowned designers and craftsmen who express their talents exclusively for KABANA.

Over 30 years ago, Stavros Eleftheriou left his native Greece to search for a new home and career. After settling down in New Mexico, he discovered his true calling: jewelry design.

In 1975, he began creating what would eventually become one of the most well-known inlaid collections in the country.

Inspired by the sea and his heritage, Stavros uses mother of pearl, opals, and diamonds to convey his contemporary style.

From 1975 to the present, Kabana Jewelry’s philosophy has remained constant: high quality jewelry and design excellence.

“Our desire to bring happiness through beautiful jewelry that people will take pride in owning and wearing.” Stavros says.

This is the cornerstone upon which Kabana Jewelry was built…a tradition that will continue into the 21st century and beyond.
